An exciting collaboration with RHRC, bringing an entry-level run club to Sheffield’s young people

We’re over the moon to announce this collaboration with the wonderful RHRC to launch our youth running club.

For ages 16-25, this is a GENUINELY ACCESSIBLE running club aimed at introducing young people to social running in a pressure-free space. Set at an easy pace, with plenty of breaks and walking options, the lovely team from Run Happy (alongside a few of our own SF staff) will take you on a short loop around Sheffield city centre, starting and finishing at Star House.

NEED TO KNOW INFO:

• This is open to all young people ages 16-25, you don’t need to have used SF services to join
• The run briefing will happen at 6pm so please aim to arrive at least five minutes before
• No booking required – just turn up!
• Bag storage will be available at SH while you’re out on the run
• Please bring water bottles! Drinking water is available at SH but we don’t have bottles
• Be sensible and pay attention to the weather forecast – if it’s sunny, wear sun cream and a hat! If it decides to rain, a waterproof jacket is essential!
• We have limited shower/washing facilities at SH. If you would need to access these, please speak to a member of staff in advance
